Batman and Superman have become huge icons over the years in the world of comic books and this new image proves that the DC duo looks iconic side by side with Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill donning the familiar capes.

Batman last made an appearance in Justice League with Ben Affleck in the role along with Superman who was played by Henry Cavill. Both Batman and Superman garnered a huge fanbase within the DCEU even though the characters have only appeared in 2-3 films. Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel has not yet been confirmed a sequel and Ben Affleck has opted out of the role since his last appearance. Instead, director Matt Reeves will be casting a new and younger Bruce Wayne/Batman for the upcoming The Batman.

Even though there is no telling when Batman and Superman will officially return to the big screen, both DC superheroes make their presence known in DC’s most recent film, Shazam!. There was even a hilarious scene that contained action figures and toys of both Batman and Superman. Aside from this Jack Dylan Grazer’s Freddy Freeman would use Batman and Superman as people to look up to so that he could figure out Billy Batson’s new abilities. Batman and Superman are two of DC’s biggest superheroes and the image below comes to show how incredible it is to have both superheroes side by side.

What do you think of this image of Batman and Superman? Do you hope to see the two return to the big screen soon? Share your thoughts below!
