If you missed out on seeing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice at an IMAX theater, don’t worry because now you can check out some of the enhanced images from the final fight online.

The IMAX theater-going experience can enhance a movie incredibly if done right. Sometimes, a film is updated in post-production to fit the format and you can feel it, but when IMAX is utilized well such as in The Dark Knight or Avengers: Infinity War it can be incredible and totally transform the experience. Another recent example of how to do the IMAX experience right was 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Director Zack Snyder’s knack for visual storytelling was made for the large-format theater experience and one sequence in particular that utilizes the technology is, of course, the showdown between Batman and Superman in the film’s third act. If you missed the opportunity to see the fight on an IMAX screen than look no further than a recent post from Twitter user @SamParkerMetal. The post features some of the enhanced images and although it’s not the same as seeing it on the big screen, the differences between the images below and the non-IMAX version are immediately noticeable. Check out the images in the post below.

The IMAX experience is meant to make you feel like you’re part of the movie. Even if they’re just images on a laptop, the pictures above show just how fully that IMAX footage fills the frame. Hopefully at some point in the future, whether it be a 10-year anniversary or a screening to accompany an upcoming DC film, fans will be able to experience the iconic fight in an IMAX theater again.
