‘Batman v Superman’ Concept Art Offers New Look At Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne

Concept artist Jerad S. Marantz has offered DC fans a look at some alternative options for Ben Affleck’s look as Bruce Wayne in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Batman v Superman marked Ben Affleck’s first appearance as the Dark Knight in the DC Extended Universe. The film featured Affleck’s Batman on a crusade to destroy Henry Cavill’s Superman over the events of Man of Steel, resulting in an epic duel between DC’s two biggest superheroes.

While we’ve seen plenty of concept art featuring Affleck as Batman, Marantz recently shared some new concept art featuring the actor as Bruce Wayne. Although the costumes that appeared in the final film were similar, the new concept art gives us a look at some alternative options for Affleck’s take on the character. You can check them out below.

Although Ben Affleck hung up the cape and cowl after 2017’s Justice League, we’re still getting plenty of new behind the scenes pictures and videos thanks to Zack Snyder. Affleck also recently opened up about leaving the role behind, citing the production woes behind Justice League as the reason for his exit from the franchise.

Here is the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice:

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Directed Zack Snyder, Batman v Superman stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, and Holly Hunter.
