DC Fans Thank Ben Affleck’s Batman On Social Media

DC fans are praising the star's performance as the Caped Crusader.

DC fans have taken to social media to thank Ben Affleck for his work as Batman in the DC Extended Universe on the big screen.

DC films have been pretty divisive among fans and critics over the past few years, but one of the things most people agree on is the gravitas that Ben Affleck brought in his performance as an older Batman. Fans have constantly praised the star’s work in the role, from how he goes up against Superman to that iconic warehouse fight towards the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now, DC fans have taken to social media to thank Affleck’s Batman using the #ThanksBatfleck trend.

The trend has quickly gained momentum on Twitter, with DC fans from across the world discussing their favorite Ben Affleck Batman moments in the DCEU. Heroic Hollywood founder Umberto Gonzalez was quick to pay tribute to the warehouse brawl in Batman v Superman, and it’s hard to argue with him given the sheer brute strength the star brings to the incredibly choreographed fight sequence. Other DC fans discussed how Affleck’s role examined Bruce Wayne’s PTSD after many years of being the Caped Crusader, while some simply wanted to highlight the design of his suit. Regardless of your opinion of the DCEU, Affleck gave an incredible performance.

What’s your favorite moment starring the Ben Affleck Batman? Is it the warehouse brawl or something else entirely? Sound-off in the comments below!
