Former Batman Ben Affleck reacted to the news that Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut will arrive on HBO Max in 2021.

While a number of Justice League stars like Henry Cavill and Ray Fisher have already reacted to the news that Zack Snyder’s cut of the DC film will arrive on HBO Max next year, former Batman Ben Affleck has chimed in with simple reaction to the announcement. Although the reaction isn’t as enthusiastic as his co-stars, the Batman star’s succinct tweet sums up the dramatic weight of the surprising news.

The Batman star took to Twitter with the impressive monochrome poster that announces Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Affleck simply captioned the image with “2021” before tagging the director and HBO Max. He also included the “ReleaseTheSnyderCut” hashtag. It’s clear that Affleck doesn’t need to explain the importance of the news to fans and he lets the poster do the work. The actor previously mentioned that he lost his enthusiasm for the role after working on the film, but it’ll be interesting to see what he thinks of the Snyder Cut. Take a look at Affleck’s reaction below.

Here’s the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
