Earlier this morning, Ben Affleck took to social media to share a cryptic video, featuring Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke abroad the Flying Fox. The actor is currently filming Justice League in London, so many fans assumed that the character will be appearing in the movie. However, it looks like the test footage was actually for another project.
The Wrap has revealed that Deathstroke will be the main antagonist in Ben Affleck’s Batman movie. We don’t know who will be playing him or how he’ll factor into the story of the movie, but it’s safe to say that it’s going to be a while before we learn more details about those things. After all, the movie doesn’t even have an official release date yet.
Affleck has been writing the script of his solo Batman movie alongside Geoff Johns for the past year, but details about the project have so far been extremely scarce. The movie is rumored to feature a large ensemble of iconic Batman villains, so there’s a chance that Deathstroke will not be the only bad guy in the movie.
