Ben Affleck’s ‘Batman’ Reacts To ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Trailer In Fan Video

Ben Affleck Batman Thor Ragnarok
Earlier this week the first official trailer for Thor: Ragnarok was released and fan reactions were largely positive, with many praising the new characters, visuals, and comedic tone of the film. Now, a fan-made video from Movieclips Trailers features reactions from Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, who both appear to be dismayed by the latest preview from Marvel Studios.

The video combines footage from Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and the Thor: Ragnarok trailer, resulting in a humorous video where both Batman and Wonder Woman express their frustration over the competition being released so close to the debut of their own film, Justice League.

You can watch the video below!

What do you think? Is the video good for a few laughs or is it just adding fuel to the already divisive Marvel films vs. DC films debate? Share your thoughts below!

In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok“, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladictorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!

Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson,  Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.

Thor: Ragnarok will be released in theaters on November 3, 2017.

10 Highlights From The ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Teaser Trailer

Previous1 of 11

Thor Ragnarok 12The first official teaser trailer for Marvel’s upcoming Thor: Ragnarok hit the web, and boy does it look incredible. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn recently proclaimed that the trailer was the best Marvel trailer ever made, and after seeing this new footage it’s hard to disagree. It also helps that this trailer takes some advice from the Guardians playbook thanks to perfect usage of Led Zepplin’s “Immigrant Song”.

This incredible new teaser showcases that filmmaker Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows and Hunt for the Wilderpeople) is going to bring quite possibly the most unique film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The kinetic visual style and the infectious energy seems to surpass both Thor and Thor: The Dark World combined.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at 10 of the most exciting highlights from the newest teaser for Thor: Ragnarok.

the look on his face just says what we re all thinking “ffs marvel cant make a serious film to save their lives” xD

      Swing and a miss

youre kidding right ? they have up beat racy music playing while asgard and Mjölnir are destroyed and finished a trailer for “Ragnarok” aka end of times for norse mythology, off with a big cringy joke about the hulk being his work bud…… this was a disappointing trailer.

looks like they are making thor a wanna be GOTG kinda film :/

        • Fenix

And yet it’s the most viewed trailer in 24 hours for marvel/Disney and everyone is pumped for it.

That has nothing to do with anything I said:S ??

Umm not everyone just the usual mcu fan base and casual movie goers looking for a popcorn flick action movie to see with little depth and since the mcu appeals to a very broad audience kids/families, teens, young adults, for instance it is bound to get more views than say Logan which appealed to a mature audience.
But as we can all agree a film like logan easily beats any and every mcu film to date in quality and sheer entertainment value weather it gets less views on its trailers or even earns less money during its time in the cinema, neither would allow us to judge the quality.

That aside it’s beyond me why people would be interested In another Thor film, the first 2 have set a track record for being very poor films throughout and from this trailer I don’t have high hopes of that changing. If anything marvel have gone all in on the things which make their superheor films lousy, immature comedy, lack of atmosphere or tension, identicle character personas and I suspect poor story telling yet again but this could be one of the very rare exception and join the likes of IM1and WS, it might just have a guy makin poor decisions when it comes to marketing.
