Zack Snyder isn’t slowing down on the goodies! A new image of Ben Affleck’s Batman in his iconic armored Batsuit has been released in a social media post.
While Zack Snyder introduced fans into many controversial versions of heroes, perhaps none were more emblematic of the Snyderverse than Ben Affleck’s Batman. The character made a splash in Batman V. Superman with an armored Batsuit inspired by the Dark Knight. However, development issues on a solo movie and personal struggles led to the character being cut from almost as many projects as he was actually in.
Though now over two years out from Ben Affleck’s retirement from the role, his take on the Caped Crusader has nestled itself in the hearts of fans. Out of all the heroes Zack Snyder introduced, Batman perhaps had the most development due to serving as the main focus of two films. And even if fans disagreed with that development, they can’t deny he had a killer batsuit.
Ben Affleck’s Iconic Armored Batsuit
Zack Snyder shared a new image of perhaps the most iconic batsuit that Ben Affleck wore, the armored batsuit from Batman V. Superman, in a recent social media post. The director has been posting dozens of Snyderverse pics to his Instagram, with those being perhaps the most imposing shot that he’s revealed yet!
It’s not likely that Ben Affleck will return to the role of Batman anytime soon. The actor already has his victory lap for the character in The Flash. Though as with every image Zack Snyder has posted, this new look at the armored batsuit was a fun trip down memory lane for those who enjoyed the Snyderverse- even if it never got to see its fullest potential.
