A new series of images from the upcoming Dwayne Johnson DC movie Black Adam highlight the members of the JSA who will appear in the film.

In DC comics, the Justice Society of America were a forerunner to the Justice League. First appearing in 1940, they became the first team of superheroes in comic book history. Now, the JSA are set to make their big-screen debut in Black Adam, where Dwayne Johnson’s titular antihero will come into contact with DC’s original superhero team.

Meet The JSA

A new series of images offer a better look at Black Adam‘s Justice Society members. The images showcase Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, Pierce Brosnan’s Dr. Fate, Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher and Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone.

The film marks the first time any of these JSA characters have been seen on the big screen. Check out the DCEU’s newest heroes in the images below:

The first trailer for Black Adam was recently released, teasing Dwayne Johnson’s ancient Egyptian antihero meeting the Justice Society. The trailer teased Black Adam’s morally gray character in a confrontation with Hawkman. As the JSA hero tells him “Heroes don’t kill people,” Adam responds with “Well, I do.” Whether Black Adam and the JSA can become allies is yet to be seen.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson as the titular antihero, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate. Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, and Bodhi Sabongui are also on board in supporting roles.

Black Adam will hit theaters on October 22nd, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the upcoming DC film, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
