New promotional artwork for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever includes images of the film’s central heroes and villains.

Following the tragic loss of Chadwick Boseman, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will serve as a tribute to the Black Panther actor and an exploration of the other characters of Wakanda. Characters such as Shuri and Nakia are expected to take on a more central role as Wakanda faces a new threat in the form of Tenoch Huerta’s Namor.

Also set to make her MCU debut in the movie is Dominique Thorne’s Ironheart, ahead of the premiere of her own Disney Plus series.

Wakanda’s Heroes Face Namor

New promotional images for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever include artwork of the film’s Wakandan heroes, an image of Namor and his forces from Talocan, and an image of Riri Williams in her Mark I Ironheart suit.

Danai Gurira’s Okoye, Letitia Wright’s Shuri, Lupita Nyong’o’s Nakia and Winston Duke’s M’Baku can all be seen in the first image. Presumably one of these heroes will be taking up the mantle of Black Panther during the events of the film.

Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, who is now ruler of the Aztec-inspired underwater nation of Talocan, rather than Atlantis as in the comics, can be seen in the second image with Mitzi Mabel Cadena’s Namora and Alex Livinalli’s Attuma. Dominique Thorne’s Ironheart appears in her own final image.

The suit Riri Williams is seen wearing here seems to be an early version of the Ironheart armor, with an upgraded version of the suit also set to appear in Wakanda Forever. With the Black Panther sequel’s November release date approaching, fans can expect to see more from the upcoming MCU film soon.
