Three songs have been released as part of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘s Prologue album.
Five months before Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Marvel Studios finally gave audiences a glimpse into how the franchise will move on from Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa, with the sequel’s powerful first trailer. The trailer notably features a cover of Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry” by Tems with a mix of Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright.”
Sounds of Wakanda
Hollywood Records and Marvel Music have now released Tems’ “No Woman No Cry,” “A Body, A Coffin” by Amaarae, and “Soy” from Santa Fe Klan with the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Prologue album. The first Black Panther film’s album featured the likes of Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Travis Scott, SZA, and many other artists. It appears Wakanda Forever‘s album will be just as star-studded, with Ludwig Göransson returning to score the film. You can listen to the new songs from the upcoming film’s album below.
Here is the synopsis for the first Black Panther film:
After the death of his father, the king of Wakanda, young T’Challa returns home to the isolated high-tech African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. Faced with treachery and danger, he must release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.
