Despite the film being delayed indefinitely, a brand-new image from Black Widow has surfaced and offers a great look at Taskmaster’s suit.
As expected, the long-awaited Black Widow solo film will not be hitting theaters this May due to the growing coronavirus concerns. It’s unclear at this time when the film will come out, with myself speculating that it could move into Eternals‘ November release date. Nonetheless, the Black Widow delay hasn’t stopped new looks at the solo film from being released.
Taskmaster is one of the biggest mysteries heading into Black Widow, with many speculating that the villain may actually be Rachel Weisz’s Melina Vostokoff or Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova. In the comics, Taskmaster is Tony Masters, but many think Marvel Studios is going in a different direction with the villain. There’s also been some reservation by fans for Taskmaster’s Marvel Cinematic Universe look. Thanks to a new image, you can now get a full look at Taskmaster’s suit courtesy of Reddit below.
Who do you think Taskmaster is? Also, when do you think the film will be released? Sound-off in the comments section below!
