A brand new TV spot for Marvel Studios’ Black Widow highlights more action from Taskmaster.
It’s hard to believe that we are less than two weeks from the release of Black Widow. After more than a year-long delay due to the pandemic, fans will finally have their first new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie since 2019’s Spider-Man: No Way Home swung into theaters. The long-awaited standalone film for Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff looks to be upping the ante in regards to the action we’ll see, and in this newest TV spot, we get a closer look at what the antagonist Taskmaster is up to.
The footage shown in the TV spot emphasizes Taskmaster’s abilities to mimic anyone he’s seen. Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova mentions that Taskmaster is in control of the whole army of Widows, teasing more of the threats that our heroine will encounter in her latest adventure. In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
Directed by Cate Shortland from a script written by Eric Pearson based on a story by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson, the Marvel film stars Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, Ray Winstone, Olivier Richters, and Rachel Weisz.
