We might be getting the Breaking Bad film sooner than anticipated as Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk says that it has already been filmed.
Details on the upcoming Breaking Bad film have been hard to come by as AMC has been extremely secretive about the project. While speaking to In The Studio with The Hollywood Reporter, Bob Odenkirk found it unbelievable that AMC had managed to keep it a secret. According to the Breaking Bad star, the movie had been shot but somehow no one knew about this:
“I don’t know what people know and don’t know. I find it hard to believe you don’t know it was shot. They did it. You know what I mean? How is that a secret? But it is. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping it a secret.”
Bob Odenkirk was a series regular on Breaking Bad since the show’s second season. In it, he played the corrupt yet likable lawyer Saul Goodman. Bob Odenkirk’s character was ultimately forced to go into hiding due to his connections to Walter White’s actions. His spinoff show, Better Call Saul, focuses on the character’s origins and who he was before he got his office in the strip mall. The show’s fifth season is currently scheduled to air in 2020.
