Brandon Routh looks absolutely fantastic suited up as Superman for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover in a brand new behind-the-scenes photo.

It’s no surprise that fans are excited for Brandon Routh to return as Superman in the Arrowverse crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths. Just yesterday, we got our first official look at Brandon Routh as Superman for the Arrowverse and now we have further insight into the suit with a fresh behind-the-scenes photo. In it, the gloss and glimmer of the official photo has been traded in for what is a more realistic and subtle image. Obviously, we see the suit once again and without the added enhancements to the image, it still looks like a fantastic addition to the Arrowverse.

Brandon Routh is still able to shine as Superman even a decade after his first appearance as the character in Superman Returns. The film wasn’t the success that Warner Bros. expected it to be and so Brandon Routh’s time as the character was limited. As time has gone on, many believe Brandon Routh’s Superman Returns to be one of the finest films to feature the Son of Krypton due to its melancholic and contemplative mood. Hopefully fans will get their Brandon Routh Superman fix when he returns in the Arrowverse.
