A new look at Captain America: Brave New World has been revealed at San Diego Comic-Con! The footage teases Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk and MCU’s Adamantium origin.
The first trailer for Captain America: Brave New World had fans salivating at the potential of the MCU’s upcoming project. Fans thought that it would be the last footage released of the project until after Comic-Con came and went. However, it seems the folks at Marvel had a Red Hulk-sized surprise up their sleeve.
Harrison Ford took the stage at San Diego Comic-Con to promote Captain America: Brave New World. Shortly after, new footage from the film was shown off by Marvel, giving fans their first full look at Red Hulk in the MCU. The transformation is surprising to both the crowd and the characters, as Ford’s villain transforms in the middle of a speech in front of the White House.
Captain America: Brave New World Introduces Adamantium
The footage also revealed that Captain America: Brave New World would be wrapping up a years-old MCU mystery. Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus Ross mentions a Celestial being birthed from the Earth, with it then being revealed that Tiamut will be the source of Adamantium in the MCU.
This brings to an end a years-long demand from the internet for the MCU to finally address the Eternals ending that saw Tiamut be turned to metal in the middle of the ocean. It’s unclear how Captain America: Brave New World will expand the presence of the metal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it’s clear that Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk wants a piece of the action!
Captain America: Brave New World is currently slated to hit theaters on February 14, 2025. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
