Charlie Wen, co-founder of Marvel Studios Visual Development has shared an alternate design for Captain America as portrayed in the original Avengers film directed by Joss Whedon.
You can check out Wen’s alternate design for the Captain America suit down below:
The suit in The Avengers was quite different from the suit seen in Captain America: The First Avenger. That film’s version of the suit was more reflective of the military and World War II. Although Captain America’s role is beloved in the 2012 film, many felt that the design in the film was a bit lackluster.
How would you rank all of the Captain America suits? Do you like his suit as seen in The Avengers or do you think the designs have significantly improved since then?
