A brand new set video has been released for Captain America: Brave New World. The footage reveals a large-scale arrest of someone, likely during the climax of the film.
The video itself doesn’t tell fans much about Captain America: Brave New World other than the fact that someone will, eventually, be arrested by a bunch of police officers. Given the swarm of police, it’s likely that whoever this is will be a large threat in the film, such as Harrison Ford’s General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who is rumored to unleash his Red Hulk alter ego on the streets of Washington D.C. Another possibility is that this could be Sharon Carter being arrested as the Power Broker following the end of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. However, given there’s been no word on Emily VanCamp returning as Sharon Carter in Captain America: Brave New World, it’s not likely. Though with the film’s release set for next year, it’s likely fans won’t need to wait long to see who it is being arrested.
What to expect from the Captain America sequel
Details regarding the plot of Captain America: Brand New World are being kept under wraps. Thunderbolt Ross (Harrison Ford) and The Leader (Tim Blake Nelson) are expected to serve as the main villains of the movie, which is currently in production for a May 2024 release.
Julius Onah is directing Captain America: Brand New World, working from a script by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The cast of the movie also includes Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Shira Haas as Sabra, with Xosha Roquemore on board in an undisclosed role.
