‘Captain America: New World Order’ Set Photo Hints At Hidden Villain

The King Cobra slithers in!

Set photos for Captain America: New World Order have slowly been rolling out ever since the movie began filming in Georgia back in March. A brand new photo hints at the Serpent Society’s leader King Cobra lurking in the shadows.

Fans have learned a lot from Captain America: New World Order set photos. There’ve been new looks at Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Anthony Mackie’s new suit, and the revelation that the Serpent Society will appear in the film, with Seth Rollins portraying one of its members. The latest photo from the set of New World Order may have revealed the leader from the Serpent Society hiding in the shadows:

Due to the shadow, it’s impossible to say for sure who fans are looking at in those images. However, the emerald green cloak is reminiscent of Klaus Voorhees’ costume as King Cobra, one of the leaders of the Serpent Society. While the cape is often more rigid to represent a cobra’s hood and tends to be purple or pink, the character did don a similar cape during his time on the Savage Six.

The appearance of King Cobra seems to suggest that the Serpent Society won’t be a threat wrapped up quickly in the film’s first act. This may serve to worry fans given Captain America: New World Order is already brimming with villains between Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross and the return of Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader. However, the scale of Captain America: Civil War proves that the franchise is more than strong enough to support that many important characters. The only question is if theaters can support fans sitting on only the edge of their seats!
