Marvel Studios released a new behind-the-scenes video in which Brie Larson discusses her role as Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel.

In less than one month, Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers will make her first appearance in the MCU when Captain Marvel hits theaters. Now, Marvel Studios has released a new video featuring Brie Larson discussing how she approached playing Carol Danvers and creative team behind the film as they discuss what the Academy Award-winning actress brings to the role.

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

Captain Marvel will be released in theaters on March 8, 2019.
