Iron Man & Captain America Cameo In New ‘Captain Marvel’ TV Spot

The Marvel Cinematic Universe launched over ten years ago with Iron Man and the decade-long story will culminate with the highly-anticipated Avengers: Endgame, widely believed the be the final outing for several fan-favorites such as Captain America. However, Captain Marvel will reveal how Nick Fury was inspired to assemble a team of heroes by his adventure with Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers in the ’90s and the latest TV spot for Marvel Studios’ first female-led film reflects on the past by comparing Carol Danvers’ rise to heroism to Iron Man and Captain America own respective journeys.

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

Captain Marvel will be released in theaters on March 8, 2019.

Avengers Endgame Marvel_Studios_Captain America Chris EvansToday, Marvel Studios released the first official trailer for Avengers: Endgame and revealed which heroes will likely be on hand for the re-match against Thanos.

Avengers: Infinity War united nearly every hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the showdown with Thanos and after a decade of films that proved to be an extensive roster. However, the Marvel Studios epic concluded with Thanos succeeding in his mission to acquire the Infinity Stones and use their power to erase half of the universe’s population, with many of the aforementioned heroes being included among the casualties. Fortunately, the original Avengers teammates survived Thanos’ decimation and it appears they will be joined by a few the new heroes who debuted since the group initially formed when they head into the second showdown with Thanos.
