Charlie Cox shows support for the “Save Daredevil” campaign in a new video after one of his appearances on Broadway.
While there’s been no recent news on if Marvel want to bring Charlie Cox back to resurrect the Daredevil series, a dedicated group of fans running the “Save Daredevil” campaign spoke to the actor after he appeared in Betrayal on Broadway. Charlie Cox took the time to meet up with the followers and appreciated their support in trying to bring back Daredevil. The news that Netflix cancelled all their Marvel shows devastated fans, but many still hold out hope that Daredevil and the other Defenders will return in some way.
The campaign recently picked up momentum when Charlie Cox’s Betrayal co-star Tom Hiddleston also showed support for Daredevil while signing autographs after a performance. But most recently, the “Save Daredevil” team posted a video of Charlie Cox thanking his followers for their support of his Daredevil role and explained how much it meant to him that fans want to see the series return. Take a look at what Charlie Cox had to say below.
“Just had an impromptu meet up with the ‘Save Daredevil‘ campaign followers. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done, it’s so cool. I’m so proud of you guys, thank you.”
