Daredevil star Vincent D’Onofrio is under fire for pointing out that Jared Leto’s Joker won’t be returning in James Gunn’s Suicide Squad.
Reception was mixed regarding James Gunn’s Suicide Squad not featuring Jared Leto returning as the Joker, with many fans confused as to why he would not be back. On the other hand, some naysayers rejoiced at the thought of not seeing the 2016 Clown Prince of Crime grace the silver screen once again. Many people lumped Daredevil alum into this after he tweeted out a since deleted tweet regarding the omission of Jared Leto’s Joker. Expressing his confusion as to why Jared Leto wasn’t in the film, Vincent D’Onofrio was attacked by Jared Leto fans, so he opted to just delete the tweet.
On Saturday night, the Daredevil star returned to Twitter to post a follow-up tweet to clarify any supposed bad blood with Jared Leto’s Joker fans. You can check out the tweet below.

Apparently, it’s as simple as that! Vincent D’Onofrio was simply taken aback by Jared Leto’s lack of casting and needed an outlet to vent about it. However, Joker fans found him to be mocking the lack of Jared Leto, which just wasn’t the case. The internet can certainly be a strange place for communication.

DC Universe Debuts ‘Doom Patrol’ Character Posters
Along with the premiere of the first teaser for Doom Patrol, DC Universe also debuted a collection of character posters for each of the members of perhaps the strangest team of characters to be adapted in live-action form for DC Comics.
In particular, these new character posters highlight Timothy Dalton's The Chief, Diane Guerrero's Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade's Cyborg, April Bowlby's Elasti-Woman, Matt Bomer's Negative Man and Brendan Fraser's Robotman. These posters each follow unique designs that reflect the nature of each character and tease unique personalities amongst the group as well.
