Charlie Hunnam Becomes The Next Green Arrow In Awesome Image

Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam becomes the next live-action Green Arrow in a new piece of fan art that imagines the future of the DC Extended Universe.

A few years ago, Warner Bros. was working on a Green Arrow movie with David S. Goyer that got stuck in development hell. The Green Arrow movie saw the Emerald Archer trapped in a Supermax prison with his greatest enemies. Arrow took elements from that script, but some DC Comics fans still want that Green Arrow story on the big screen. Birds of Prey will introduce Green Arrow’s love interest Black Canary, which begs the question of if there is a Green Arrow in the DCEU. One actor who is always brought up for the Green Arrow role is Charlie Hunnam.

Fans have been clamoring for Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam to suit up at the next Green Arrow for some time now. Charlie Hunnam is one of the few big actors in Hollywood who has yet to appear in a comic book movie. Many see Charlie Hunnam as a perfect fit for a cinematic Green Arrow due to his blonde hair and beard. Now a new piece of fan art from Instagram user “aikoaiham” shows why. Here’s what Charlie Hunnam could look like as the Green Arrow for the DC Extended Universe.

Do you think Charlie Hunnam is a good choice for Green Arrow? Do you think a Green Arrow film could happen soon? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
