Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam becomes the DCEU’s Oliver Queen in an impressive concept design that shows the actor as the Green Arrow.
Although Stephen Amell might’ve only just hung up the hood after an eight-year run playing Oliver Queen in the Arrowverse, this fan art shows Sons of Anarchy and King Arthur star Charlie Hunnam as Green Arrow for the DC Extended Universe. Hunnam seems to be the only candidate fans want to see as the archer on the silver screen, as numerous designs of what the actor could look like in the role have flooded social media over the years. However, this piece might be the best DCEU design yet.
The fan art comes from digital aritst ‘saarukan.psd’ on Instagram and takes its cues from the DC Comics Icons Green Arrow statue, particularly with the armored braces and boots. The artist gives Charlie Hunnam a tactical suit of armor as well as a bulky utility belt. Although the Green Arrow and The Canaries series is still seemingly ready to go at The CW, it would be great to see Charlie Hunnam as the DCEU’s Green Arrow. You can see the artwork below.
