It was a surprise on Monday when it was first reported that former Batman actor Christian Bale was in talks for Thor: Love and Thunder. While Christian Bale isn’t even the first Batman actor to join the MCU, no one really saw this coming. Now speculation has started on who Christian Bale will play in Thor: Love and Thunder.
When Thor: Love and Thunder was first announced at San Diego Comic Con, Taika Waititi revealed that the film will be inspired by Jason Aaron’s Mighty Thor comic book run. Jason Aaron has now joined fans in speculating who Christian Bale might play in Thor: Love and Thunder. Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, and Natalie Portman. The film will be based on Jason Aaron’s Mighty Thor comic book run, with Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster becoming the new Thor.
Thor: Love and Thunder is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 5, 2021.
