New ‘Captain America: Civil War’ BTS Videos Spotlight Spider-Man

Spider-Man

Tom Holland made his debut as the wall-crawler in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War earlier this year, but he’s now filming his own standalone movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming, which will open in theaters next summer. However, you’ll be able to relive his awesome performance when Civil War finally arrives on Blu-ray and DVD next week, or you can even do so right now, since the movie is now available on Digital HD.

Spider-Man was absent from most of the promotional material for Civil War, but he was also never spotted on the set of the movie. That said, one of the special features that will be included in the Blu-ray edition of the film features a behind-the-scenes look at Holland and his stunt double in full costume on the Civil War set, which is pretty cool considering that we never quite got to see how this version of Spidey was brought to life.

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Bruhl and Tom Holland, Captain America: Civil War hits Blu-Ray and DVD on September 13, 2016. Are you guys excited?
