Clayface has finally wrapped filming! The movie’s star Tom Rhys Harries shares a new (and potentially, final) BTS photo from the upcoming DC Universe project.
And just like that, the production of Clayface has come and gone. Everything considered, the DC Universe’s third project had a rather tame production cycle. While an errant BTS photo or two would occasionally go viral, filming mostly went on without a hitch. Even now, very little is known about the project aside from a few snaps of Tom Rhys Harries’ injured face.
Yet as with any major motion picture, filming couldn’t truly end without one final BTS photo from the star. Tom Rhys Harries recently shared a snap of what appears to be his dressing room for Clayface. While the image doesn’t share much about the DC Universe, it does give hints as to the mindspace that Harries was in during production.

How Tom Rhys Harries Transformed Into Clayface
The part of the BTS photos fans are the most interested in is the cut-off poem carved into the desk reading ‘Go where the chalk white-‘. This appears to be the line ‘Go where the chalk white arrows go’ from the poem Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein. The poem is a reflection of children seeking out a place of wonder outside a dingy and dirty city, potentially reflecting Clayface’s yearning to leave Gotham for Hollywood.
This idea of Tom Rhys Harries trying to get into the mindset of someone with big dreams who failed is reflected in the rest of the image, such as the mantra about defacating in one hand and hoping in the other. This suggests that Clayface may be a much more dreary window into the DC Universe, with the pain not stemming from the accident; but rather the journey to stardom.
