Batman is leaving his mark on Clayface! A set photo from the upcoming film gives fans their first taste of Bruce Wayne’s influence in the DC Universe.
To many, it seems as though the hype around Clayface revolves less around its merits as a movie and more about what it can tell fans about the broader DC Universe. This is exemplified by fans scanning through every set photo for even the tiniest sign of Batman. Though, try as they might, there haven’t been any concrete signs of Bruce Wayne in Gotham.
That is, until recently. The latest set photo to go viral from the production has given fans their first taste of Batman in the DC Universe…albeit not in the way they might have hoped. The picture shows that the Wayne Community Center will be a location in the background of Clayface, confirming that Bruce Wayne will at least keep his charitable ambitions.

Will Batman Appear In Clayface?
Despite how badly fans have been searching for any sign of Batman in every set photo leak, it’s not likely that Bruce Wayne will appear in Clayface. The film seems to be crafting an original horror story for the character, with all signs pointing to the cast being nearly all original characters to the DC Universe except for the titular Matt Hagen.
As for if Bruce Wayne will ever meet Clayface on the silver screen? Only time will tell. It’s possible that Matt Hagen doesn’t extend far into the DC Universe beyond this film, with Basil Karlo serving as the main Clayface for the franchise. Though, hopefully, there will at least be a few more details teasing Batman to keep discussion about the film going!
Clayface is set to release September 11th, 2026. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DC Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
