New details about Colin Farrell’s Penguin HBO Max series are finally here.

Colin Farrell has opened up about his upcoming Penguin series from the WarnerMedia streaming service HBO Max, revealing that the spin-off opens one week after the events of The Batman. Describing the Penguin episode one script as “lovely” and “well-written,” Farrell spoiled the exact way the series opens.

“It starts a week after The Batman ends, so Gotham is still somewhat underwater,” Farrell said during an interview with Extra. “I read the first script for the first episode, and it opens up with my feet splashing through the water in Falcone’s office.”

Colin Farrell is looking forward to his return as The Penguin

Later on in the interview, Colin Farrell shared his excitement about reprising the role of the Penguin after his brief introduction in The Batman.
