Concept Art Of ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’s Vixen Costume

Legends of Tomorrow Vixen S2

Legends of Tomorrow

The DC TV Universe will be seeing a new Vixen this fall on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as Maisie Richardson-Sellers is joining the series as Amaya Jiwe, the 1st Vixen and grandmother to Megalyn E.K.’s Mari McCabe who is the Vixen in the present. Last month, her costume on the show was revealed during the TCA and today, executive producer and show-runner Marc Guggenheim revealed concept art of the Vixen suit.

Vixen’s costume was designed by costume designer Maya Mani who works on Arrow, The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, with concept art from Andy Poon who is frequently doing the concept art for several of the DC TV shows.

“Once reunited, the Legends continue their new mission to protect the timeline from temporal aberrations – unusual changes to history that spawn potentially catastrophic consequences. When Nate, the grandson of J.S.A. member Commander Steel, unexpectedly finds himself with powers, he must overcome his own insecurities and find the hero within himself. Ultimately, the Legends will clash with foes both past and present, to save the world from a mysterious new threat.”

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 is set to begin on Thursday, October 13 at 8/7c on The CW.

They need to fire the costume designer. All of the costumes for the different heroes have the same exact aesthetic. It’s like they all went to the same person for their suits. The leather jacket, thick belt, and leather pants with knee slits combo is really getting old.
