Concept artist Houston Sharp has revealed a design he did for Swamp Thing in Doug Liman’s canceled Justice League Dark film.

Since the box office disappointment of Justice League, a number of projects for the planned DC Extended Universe have been canceled and/or reworked into something else altogether. One such film was Justice League Dark which has had various directors attached to it including Guillermo del Toro and Doug Liman. Neither project got out of the planning stage but some work on Doug Liman’s film was done.

Traditionally, Justice League Dark is the name for a group of superheroes usually lead by John Constatine and deal with more supernatural threats that the main Justice League is otherwise not equipped to handle. The team first came together in The New 52 book of the same name, with the book being involved in various crossover events of the imprint. Swamp Thing was frequently a member of the Justice Leauge Dark team and was even a character in animated film, Justice League Dark. But, as it turned out, the character was once set to be a live-action member of the team as well.

In a recent post, Huston Sharp revealed a few concept designs he did for Swamp Thing in the planned film which reveal a massive version of the iconic character:
