Warner Bros’ big DC streaming event, the DC FanDome has garnered over 22 million views worldwide.
When the coronavirus began to spread across the world, it forced many businesses to fundamentally alter the way they operated. The movie industry, in particular, was hit hard by this with the majority of productions being completely shut down. Conventions soon followed with most slowly but surely pushing back and/or canceling their various 2020 events with the biggest one being the cancellation of the year’s San Diego Comic-Con. To compensate for this, may conventions began to be held online with celebrities appearing at various virtual conventions. Warner Bros, however, opted to do something a little different for DC with what became the DC FanDome event.
During the DC FanDome event, Warner Bros revealed a number of things about its upcoming projects. This included the first trailer for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman, details on Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam film, and the first trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leauge.
