The panel for Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam revealed the logo and concept art before the solo film even starts production.

The star has been working on getting the film off the ground withe New Line Pictures and Warner Bros. for ten years and it’s finally on the way. The DC FanDome panel revealed the film’s official logo, which focuses on Black Adam‘s iconic lightning bolt emblem. But it’s the art from Jim Lee and Boss Logic which really impressed fans.
Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson narrated a short motion-comic depicting the origin of the character in Kahndaq over 5000 years ago. The star explained that the anti-hero (or villain in some cases) was a slave before he was transformed into the hero his people needed. But an encounter with the wizard from Shazam! locked him away for 5000 years. But after his awakening, he crosses paths with the Justice Society of America and Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher, as well as other heroes like Hawkman and Doctor Fate. Here is the synopsis for the first Shazam! movie:
We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quick.
Directed by David F. Sandberg, the film stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans and Djimon Hounsou.
