Conor McGregor Offers To Host Justin Bieber’s Tom Cruise UFC Fight

MMA fighter Conor McGregor offered to host Justin Bieber’s proposed UFC fight against Tom Cruise.

On Sunday, Canadian singer Justin Bieber challenged Tom Cruise to a UFC fight and taunted the Hollywood superstar by claiming he would “never live it down” should he refuse. Now, former Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor has offered to host a Justin Bieber vs. Tom Cruise fight through his company McGregor Sports and Entertainment.

In addition to his offer to host a Justin Bieber/Tom Cruise showdown, Conor McGregor challenged Mark Wahlberg to a fight of their own. In a post on his official Twitter account, Conor McGregor taunted Wahlberg by saying, “Back when Mark Wahlberg was marky mark, I’d’ve still slapped the ears off him and took my ufc shares back.”

In the meantime, Tom Cruise will soon reprise his iconic role as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in the upcoming Top Gun sequel. Details on the film are currently under wraps, though the film will follow Maverick teaching a new generation of pilots. Included among the trainees will be a young man named Bradley Bradshaw, the son of  Top Gun character Nick “Goose” Bradshaw who died tragically in the first film. Val Kilmer is set to reprise his role as Tom “Iceman” Kazansky while Jennifer Connelly plays a woman who runs a local Navy bar.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski from a script written by Peter Craig, Justin Marks, Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz, Top Gun: Maverick stars Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Val Kilmer, Kelly McGillis, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell, Monica Barbaro, Thomasin McKenzie, Charles Parnell, Jay Ellis, Bashir Salahuddin, Danny Ramirez, Jon Hamm, and Ed Harris.

Top Gun: Maverick is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 26, 2020.
