First Look At Cyborg In DC Universe’s ‘Doom Patrol’ Officially Revealed

Doom Patrol Joivan Wade Cyborg

We finally get our first look at The First Purge actor Joivan Wade as this series’ version of Victor Stone AKA Cyborg, in DC Universe’s upcoming Doom Patrol series.

The character poster gives us the best look at his profile as part of the titular Doom Patrol team. As you can see, Cyborg is shown donning an Adidas tracksuit as a football player to hide his armor:

The design isn’t too much of a far cry from what we saw in the Justice League movie, where actor Ray Fisher brought Cyborg to life. It’s only a matter of time before we see more of Wade’s take on Cyborg, but we can enjoy the material we have received thus far.

Doom Patrol is a reimagining of one of DC’s strangest group of outcast Super Heroes which includes: Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor/Negative Man, Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele/Robotman, April Bowlby as Elasti-Woman, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade as Victor Stone/Cyborg and Timothy Dalton as Dr. Niles Caulder/The Chief.

Here is the synopsis for the show:

“Doom Patrol will find the reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.”

Doom Patrol will premiere on February 15, 2019 exclusively on DC Universe.
