Dafne Keen may be making yet another return as X-23! The actress breaks her silence on reprising her iconic role once more in Avengers: Doomsday.
One of the sweetest surprises found within the minutes of Deadpool and Wolverine was seeing Dafne Keen finally make her return as X-23. While the actress only played the character once as a child, she quickly became a fan-favorite. And with the Multiverse Saga in full swing, fans were hoping that they’d see her reprise her role in some form.
But now that she’s officially donned the claws again, fans are left wanting more. This has led many to speculate (and, truthfully, hope) that Dafne Keen may return as X-23 once more in Avengers: Doomsday. While the film already has an absolutely stacked cast, reports that Ryan Reynolds may be set to reprise his role as Deadpool has given some people some hope.
Is Dafne Keen In Avengers: Doomsday?
Fans actually got the chance to ask Dafne Keen about her potential future as X-23 during her recent appearance at FanExpo Canada. While speaking at a panel, the actress was asked if there was any chance for her to return her iconic role in Avengers: Doomsday. Keen admitted that she doesn’t know if she will ultimately appear in the film, but that she has high hopes: “I actually have no idea. I Hope so.”
Even if Dafne Keen doesn’t appear as X-23 in Avengers: Doomsday, it’s likely that Deadpool and Wolverine won’t be the last time she portrays the character. If anything, her absence simply locks her in to having a much larger role heading into Secret Wars. Though given the current state of the Multiverse Saga, nothing is ever truly considered “certain”.
