In a recent interview with YourEntertainmentCorner.com, actor Dana Lee gave some interesting details about his role in the upcoming DC Extended Universe film Birds of Prey. In the film, Dana Lee will play a character that has a connection to Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and the Joker (Jared Leto).
Dana Lee gave a brief description on his Birds of Prey character named Doc. He reveals how his character remains connected to Harley Quinn and the Joker:
“I play a character named Doc, I own this little restaurant and my residence is above it. Every time Harley Quinn gets in trouble with the Joker, she would come and stay with me. I’m like her Taiwanese grandfather.”
Before Birds of Prey, Dana Lee had roles in films such as Rambo: First Blood Part II, I Spy and Lethal Weapon 4. He also made appearances in HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and ABC’s Dr. Ken.
It’s interesting to hear that Dana Lee’s character will appear in scenes with Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey. Perhaps their dynamic will provide Harley Quinn some much-needed care amidst the toxic relationship she shares with the Joker.
