Marvel Studios added Danai Gurira’s name to the top of the new Avengers: Endgame poster after fans expressed how upset they were about her being excluded.
Although Danai Gurira’s Okoye was one of the 13 characters featured on the new poster for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame, her name was only listed in the credits on the bottom of the image. Fans took to social media to express how upset they were by the fact that Danai Gurira was not credited on the top of the poster like everyone else who was featured on the image, prompting Marvel Studios to released a new version with the Black Panther star’s name now included atop alongside those of her co-stars
