Daniel Radcliffe is ready to join the Fast and Furious franchise as long as he doesn’t have to do any driving.
In a recent interview with MTV NEWS to discuss his latest film Guns Akimbo, Radcliffe was discussing how he hasn’t done a variety of stunts since his starring role in Harry Potter. When asked if he sees his action-centric role in Guns Akimbo to be an entry point to become an action star, Daniel Radcliffe shrugged it off, suggesting that he isn’t typically cast in action films.
The conversation then humorously switched over to Daniel Radcliffe joining the ever-popular Fast and Furious franchise. Radcliffe expressed interest in joining the franchise as long as he does not have to drive. You can check out the full interview below.
#DanielRadcliffe – action movie star? ? He did his fair share of stunts during the Harry Potter films, and now he’s ready to join the @FastFurious franchise… as long as he doesn’t have to do any driving ? #TIFF19 pic.twitter.com/18Lcla5ch0

This was definitely a humorous response from Daniel Radcliffe, but it would be interesting to see him join the Fast and Furious franchise, especially because he has not been apart of a major franchise since Harry Potter. With his British accent, he could easily join the franchise as a relative of Deckard Shaw, played by Jason Statham.
The 9th film in the Fast and Furious franchise is currently being filmed by Justin Lin. It may be a bit too late for Daniel Radcliffe to join that film’s production, but he could easily fall into the franchise with its 10th film.
Directed by Justin Lin from a script written by Daniel Casey, Fast and Furious 9 star Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, John Cena, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron.
Fast and Furious 9 is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on May 22, 2020. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Daniel Radcliffe and his possible entry into the Fast and Furious franchise.
