Marvel has officially revealed the release date for Daredevil: Born Again. Description of the Disney Plus show’s first footage teases a truly dark return for the MCU.
Daredevil: Born Again was perhaps the Disney Plus show fans were most excited for when it was first announced. However, between the Hollywood strikes and a creative reboot, fans were left scratching their head on when the series would even release. That all changed during Disney’s 2024 Upfronts presentation, which revealed exactly when the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen will return to the MCU.
Marvel has officially confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again will hit Disney Plus in March 2025. The first season will consist of nine episodes, with the second half of their eighteen episode order being pushed into a second season.
Daredevil’s New Footage Gets Tense
The first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again was also shown by Marvel at the Upfronts. While the footage wasn’t released to the fans, a description via IGN teases great things for the Disney Plus series. The trailer reportedly starts with Matt Murdock donning his suit with the narration about when the “entire system is against you… it’s often Davis vs. Goliath.”
The footage continues with glimpses of other cast members making their return to the MCU in Daredevil: Born Again. These include Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann-Woll as Karen Page, and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. It all ends with one final action sequence where Matt Murdock is asked “what kind of a lawyer are you?”
The footage ends with the hero putting on a pair of broken red glasses and responding “A really good one.”
It’s unclear when Marvel will release the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again. However, given the Disney Plus project is nearly a year from release, fans will likely have to wait quite a while to see this footage for themselves. Luckily, it seems to be more than worth the wait!
