The cast of Daredevil: Born Again isn’t slowing down! One star confirms their return for season 3 as filming gears to start later this month.
Daredevil: Born Again has been bucking the trend of waiting years and years between their seasons, with each new one starting production not long after the last airs. As such, with the debut of season 2 just around the corner, season 3 is getting ready to start production. Yet despite this, very little is known about the upcoming season, including, but not limited to, which cast members will return.
After all, season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again is still dealing from the fallout of season 1 – the direction of which was largely determined by a different showrunner. So while Dario Scardapane did have full control over season 2, they’ve made is clear season 3 will start a new era for the show, casting doubt on which members of the cast might return.
The Returning Cast Of Daredevil: Born Again
Yet it seems at least one actor did confirm their involvement in season 3. Chatting with The Hollywood Reporter, Arty Froushan (who plays Kingpin’s bodyguard Buck in the series) revealed that he’s preparing to start filming for Daredevil: Born Again once more, all-but-confirming his character’s return in the upcoming season.
“I’m going to be filming some of season three of Daredevil, which is the Marvel series I’ve been doing on and off. That’ll be coming up in spring.”
Given season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again still hasn’t hit streaming, it’s unclear exactly what Arty Froushan’s role will be heading into season 3. However, given there’s reports that the next season will be taking place largely in a prison, it’s possible that Buck serves as Kingpin’s “Man on the Inside” to keep an eye on Matt Murdock.
