Daredevil: Born Again could have been full of Marvel Cinematic Universe crossovers! A new rumor about the show teases a cameo from a Hawkeye veteran along with a cut connection to Ms. Marvel.
Fans have been on the edge of their seat to see how Daredevil: Born Again connects everyone’s favorite Avocado at Law to the MCU. While the rumor mill has mostly focused on new characters joining the fray, it’s that time of year when every cameo under the sun starts to get revealed, including a surprising one from Hawkeye and one from Ms. Marvel that didn’t quite make the cut.
Specifically, Hollywoodinsider DanielRPK revealed that Hawkeye star Tony Dalton will be reprising his role as the Swordsman Jacques Duquesne in Daredevil: Born Again. It’s not clear whether Dalton will officially don his superhero alter ego in the MCU with his appearance, but the rumor does line up with other street-level heroes like White Tiger appearing in the series.
The Cut Ms. Marvel Cameo From Daredevil: Born Again
While Daredevil: Born Again is expanding the MCU’s street-level presence, it seems not everyone was able to catch the boat. In the same rumor revealing Tony Dalton will return from Hawkeye, DanielRPK revealed that the series cut a cameo from Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel. However, the concept was scrapped early on for unknown reasons.
While Ms. Marvel herself won’t appear in Daredevil: Born Again, the series isn’t entirely separated from that corner of the MCU. Footage from the series confirmed that Kamala Khan’s father Yusuf Khan will be making his own cameo in the show. Though given the character doesn’t have powers, it’s not likely he’ll be suiting up like his fellow series traveler from Hawkeye!
Daredevil: Born Again is set to premiere in March 2025 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
