Daredevil: Born Again is set to bring Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher back to the small screen on Disney Plus. A set of rumors tease Wilson Fisk’s war on vigilantes will be fought during Frank Castle’s war on cops.
Daredevil: Born Again is all but confirmed to start Wilson Fisk’s path to be mayor of New York, with dozens of rumors suggesting his political path is centered around an anti-vigilante platform that Matt Murdock will have to fight both in the streets and in the courts. However, it seems as though Fisk won’t be waging the only war in New York, as Charlie Cox’s man without fear is also set to contend with Frank Castle waging a war on cops as they misappropriate his logo as The Punisher.
While The Punisher has never strayed away from political subject matter, Frank Castle’s war on the police in Daredevil: Born Again is sure to strike a sore spot with some fans given the contentious nature of the discourse. It’s also sure to catch the attention of Wilson Fisk, who’ll use the war as more evidence in his anti-vigilante crusade. Only time will tell which man succeeds in his goals.
