Is Bullseye’s time truly over in Daredevil: Born Again? Set photos from the ongoing production tease that the villain will return in season 2.
It’s hard to imagine Daredevil: Born Again without Bullseye. Despite only playing a role in 2 out of the 8 currently released episodes, Wilson Bethel has left an absolutely indelible mark on the series. And given the insane moment that took place in the latest episode, fans have been wondering how the character will play in the finale, and if there are any plans for him to return for a larger role heading into season 2 of the show.
While the former can only be answered in six days, there is an answer for the latter. At least, a minor one. Set photos for Daredevil: Born Again have been coming out like hotcakes, revealing tons of juicy details about season 2. The latest batch confirms that Wilson Bethel is at least on set as the character, even though fans weren’t able to snag a peak at what may be his finalized suit as Bullseye. It’s likely that he’ll officially make his return as the character when he films his scenes in the coming days.

Will Wilson Bethel Return As Bullseye?
Of course, given the finale for Daredevil: Born Again has yet to release, it’s hard to make any solid predictions about events taking place in season 2. It’s possible that, while Wilson Bethel will return to the show, he won’t do it at Bullseye. At least, not in a traditional sense. The character could move to a supporting role, with Lester Pointdexter helping Matt as a civilian (as much as a stretch as it may seem) against Wilson Fisk and his vigilante task force.
Then again, given the new creative team now has full control over season 2, it’s likely that fans will get a more traditional Bullseye than ever before. Due to how quickly Wilson Bethel’s return in Daredevil: Born Again came together, they didn’t have time to make him a proper suit. One could bet dollars to donuts that this blunder is rectified in the upcoming season, especially given Matt himself got his beloved shadowlands suit.
