Is Finn Jones finally making his return to the MCU? A rumor suggests that the Iron Fist star could be tee’d up to make a comeback in Daredevil: Born Again.
For the past few years, fans have been convinced that the Defenders cast would slowly make their way back to the MCU through Daredevil: Born Again. However, there did come with one asterisk: would Finn Jones be back as Iron Fist? Not only was his character by far the most controversial and less successful, but he’s been mostly absent from the rumor mill.
Yet it seems fans finally have some hope to see Iron Fist return. A new rumor by Cryptic4kQual suggests that Finn Jones will reprise his most iconic role in a future project. And while it likely won’t be this year, his character will be teased sometime during the events of Daredevil: Born Again season 2, which drops on Disney Plus later this month.
How Finn Jones Will Return As Iron Fist
For the two people that actually watched Iron Fist, there should be some questions ringing in your mind about how exactly the character will make his return (likely in a subsequent season of Daredevil: Born Again). While one can’t say for sure what the future will hold, it’s more likely than not that Finn Jones will continue to put his focus onto the “Danny Rand” side of the character.
A previous rumor has suggested that the mantle of Iron Fist will be “passed on” in a future MCU project, likely to rising star Lin Lei. It’s likely that Finn Jones’ return, be it in Daredevil: Born Again or otherwise, will lay the groundwork for someone else to take on the title of Iron Fist, while leaving the door open for him to remain a Hero for Hire.
