‘Daredevil’ Season 3 Showrunner Opens Up About Possibly Returning For Season 4

Daredevil Season 3 Black Suit

On the heels of the new season of Marvel and Netflix’s Daredevil being released, showrunner Erik Oleson recently discussed the possibility of returning for a fourth season.

It’s been a bit of a scary week if you’re a big fan of the Marvel Netflix series. Both Iron Fist and Luke Cage were canceled, but that may not mean the end of the Marvel Netflix universe just yet. New seasons of The Punisher and Jessica Jones are on the way and now fans are hoping to see the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen return for another season, and according to showrunner Erik Oleson, so is he.

Fans have been praising the latest season of Daredevil, with some even calling it the best season yet, and thankfully the showrunner seems excited about the possibility of doing another one. In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Oleson had this to say about possibly returning to oversee another season of the inaugural Marvel Netflix series.

“Hell yes. I had the time of my life, man. I had so much fun. If you talk to anybody in the cast and crew, or involved in the production, Season 3 was a very pleasant experience for all of us. And we’re all very proud of the teamwork that made the final proudct possible. So yeah, I’m hopeful that I’ll get to do it again.”

If Oleson were to return for the fourth season of the series, it would be the first time in the show’s history that a showrunner oversaw two separate seasons. Season 4 of Daredevil has yet to be canceled, so fans may be able to see the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen fight again, but no official announcement has been made just yet.
