Justice League villain Darkseid climbed the ranks of Twitter on Tuesday due to fans debating who would win a fight between him and Avengers villain Thanos.
A battle between two of comics’ most notorious villains has been an ongoing debate for years. Thanos has emerged as one of the most iconic villains in popular culture after his appearance in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Meanwhile, Darkseid was supposed to make an appearance in the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League, but with changes made on the film, the DC character still awaits his live-action debut.
The famous Justice League villain was first created by Jack Kirby in 1970 while Marvel’s Thanos was created in 1973 by Jim Starlin. The battle between some of the most powerful villains in comics broke out on Twitter after a post from Twitter user, @El__Yaq. Here is what some fans had to say about Thanos vs. Darkseid:
Let's be real, thinking purely of concept, if #Thanos and #Darkseid were in the same universe, Thanos would be in love with him and trying to incite genocide to impress him. Thank you, I will not be taking questions.
