Darth Vader will reportedly return in the upcoming Ahsoka series led by Rosario Dawson.
The most iconic figure in Star Wars has gotten his fair share of screen time in projects during the Disney era. The character first appeared in Star Wars Rebels, then Rogue One, and most recently, turned up in Obi-Wan Kenobi with his biggest role yet. It’s already been reported that Hayden Christensen would appear as Anakin Skywalker in Ahsoka, presumably as a Force ghost, but according to Making Star Wars, we will also get to see Darth Vader.
How Will Ahoska Use Darth Vader?
It’s unclear what role Darth Vader might play in Ahsoka, which will take place after the events of the original trilogy. The report goes on to say that a new suit was constructed for Ahsoka, would be worn by Tom O’Connel, and be used for lightsaber battles. With Darth Vader dead and Ahsoka taking place after the original trilogy, the new series might recreate what we saw in Star Wars Rebels. There’s also a chance Darth Vader might just be part of a vision Ahsoka experiences.
Here is the synopsis for the most recent Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi:
