This is where the fun begins!

Star Wars prequel trilogy star Hayden Christensen is reportedly returning as Anakin Skywalker in the upcoming Ahsoka series starring Rosario Dawson.

The relationship between Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an integral one and it looks like that will finally be explored in live-action. While Hayden Christensen was largely absent from the sequel trilogy, the actor will make his grand return to Star Wars as Darth Vader in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, but it looks like it won’t stop there.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hayden Christensen is also set to appear in the upcoming series following Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano. Given that the series is set after Darth Vader’s death in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, it’s expected that we will see Anakin Skywalker back as either a force ghost or in flashbacks. Dave Filoni is writing the Ahsoka Tano series, which is expected to go into production early next year.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series has been described as a special event series for Disney Plus, and details on the upcoming Star Wars series are being hidden away on Tatooine. Still, we do know the series will feature a rematch between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith and before their final confrontation in A New Hope.

Directed by Deborah Chow from Joby Harold’s scripts, Obi-Wan Kenobi stars Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is expected to hit Disney Plus in 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka series, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
